Fasano and Savelletri works for a first trip that mixes sea, countryside and perhaps a wedding, if you have a car. It has 12 stays on The Puglia Edit, all in the comune of Fasano, with a confirmed pool at eight and estimated prices in bands 2 to 5. If your first trip is mostly evenings in a walkable old town, look at a town-based area first.
Fasano is a large comune. Its tourism portal lists ten frazioni, among them Savelletri, Torre Canne, Pezze di Greco and Speziale, and places it on the line between the Bari side of Puglia and the Salento. Events in town are on the Fasano page on Andiamo in Puglia (in Italian).
The main site is Egnazia, a city built by the Messapi whose archaeological park and national museum have a Savelletri address. The tourism portal dates its first settlement to the 16th century BC, and the Romans gave it a port and the Via Traiana, whose remains you can still see. Before a visit, read the Egnazia archaeological park, described on Andiamo in Puglia (in Italian).
The coast belongs to the Dune Costiere regional park, which runs from Torre Canne in Fasano to Torre San Leonardo in Ostuni over roughly 1,100 hectares. Its own site describes centuries-old olive groves, old masserie and archaeological sites behind the shore. Torre Canne, inside the park, is known for its lighthouse.
Inland, the hamlet of Cocolicchio sits on the border with Locorotondo, and Fasano’s tourism portal says its hundred or so inhabitants live exclusively in trulli.
Eight of the 12 are masserie, the historic farm estates of southern Italy, three are boutique hotels and one is a resort. Fasano’s tourism portal calls the masserie its pride, with lime-white walls among olive trees. Most of the 12 give Savelletri as their locality, among them Bianco Riccio Suite Hotel, Masseria Calderisi, Masseria Don Luigi and Masseria Torre Coccaro.
Four stays are in estimated price band 2, among them Borgo San Marco and Masseria Don Luigi. Three are in band 3, including Bianco Riccio and Calderisi, three in band 4, including Torre Coccaro, and two in band 5. How we select explains why most bands are estimates.
Seven of the 12 have a spa, and six are five-star in the Regione Puglia accommodation register.
Summer is beach season. For a quieter stay, Puglia's regional tourism content on italia.it says the sea is still warm in autumn and the climate mild. Fasano's tourism portal says the territory welcomes visitors all year, and its comune lists concerts at the Teatro Kennedy from November 2026 to January 2027 and one at the Egnazia archaeological park on July 2, 2027. Only Bianco Riccio Suite Hotel states year-round opening, so ask the other 11 before you plan a winter trip.
Fasano's tourism portal says Bari (BRI) and Brindisi (BDS) both serve the territory, so pick the airport with the better connection from your city. By train, Masseria Torre Coccaro's own site says to take the regional Trenitalia to Fasano station, and Masseria Don Luigi says it is close to that station. By car, Torre Coccaro gives the SS 16, exit Savelletri di Fasano. Fasano spreads over coast, countryside and ten frazioni, so you will need a car, hired or arranged as a transfer with your stay. Each stay page shows its distance to both airports when its position is precise.
Fasano, Savelletri, Pezze di Greco, Speziale, Torre Canne.
Start from your budget. Four stays are in estimated band 2, among them Borgo San Marco and Masseria Don Luigi, three in band 3, three in band 4, including Masseria Torre Coccaro, and two in band 5, Borgo Egnazia and Masseria Torre Maizza. Most of the 12 give Savelletri as their locality.
Two stays confirm a beach club and a private beach on their official sites: Masseria Calderisi, in estimated band 3, and Masseria Torre Coccaro, in band 4, both in Savelletri and both with a spa. Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel at Torre Canne confirms private access to the sea. For the other nine, neither is confirmed.
Seven stays have a spa confirmed on their official sites: Bianco Riccio Suite Hotel, Borgo Egnazia, Borgo San Marco, Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel, Masseria Calderisi, Masseria San Domenico and Masseria Torre Coccaro. A spa at the other five is not confirmed, so ask them directly. Each stay page names the source behind the amenity.
Seven of the 12 stays say on their own sites that they host weddings. Masseria Calderisi states exclusive use, a ceremony on site and a maximum of 120 guests on its events page, and Casale del Murgese states exclusive use and a ceremony on site. Ask the property for capacity.
Egnazia is an ancient city built by the Messapi, with a national museum and an archaeological park that have a Savelletri address. Fasano's tourism portal dates the first settlement to the 16th century BC and lists the remains of the Via Traiana and a civil basilica among the Roman remains.
You will want a car. The 12 stays share one wide comune, with ten frazioni according to Fasano's tourism portal, and the coast, Egnazia, the dune park and the inland villages are spread across it. Ask each stay about transfers, and check its page for how close it sits to the sea.
Four stays are estimated in band 2, which is €250 to €450 a night for a double room in high season, and three in band 3, €450 to €750. Three are in band 4, €750 to €1,200, and Borgo Egnazia and Masseria Torre Maizza are in band 5, over €1,200. All 12 bands are estimates: ask for the rate.
