How do you choose a stay by the sea in Fasano and Savelletri?

The question is how you reach the water. Masseria San Domenico, Masseria Cimino, Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel and Borgo Egnazia are near the coast in a straight line. Masseria Calderisi and Masseria Torre Coccaro run a free shuttle to their beaches.

Masseria Cimino is an 18th-century farmhouse with a tower near the coast, and it serves as the guest house of the San Domenico Golf. Its own site could not be read, so its rooms are not confirmed here. Masseria San Domenico is a 15th-century watch-tower turned resort, with a thalassotherapy spa and a pool among rocks.

Canne Bianche is a boutique hotel in Torre Canne with a sea-view pool and private access to the sea. Borgo Egnazia is a village-style resort with a kids club and two private beaches, Cala Masciola and La Fonte. Distance alone would put both on the list.

Masseria Calderisi has 24 rooms and suites and a private strip of sand with sunbeds and parasols, reached by a free shuttle. Masseria Torre Coccaro has 16 room types, an Aveda spa and two beach clubs, Coccaro Beach and Le Palme Beach, with a free shuttle to the guests’ beach club. For the sea and what is on along this shore, read Andiamo in Puglia on the Costa dei Trulli, in Italian.

The price bands are our estimates: Calderisi and Cimino 3, San Domenico, Torre Coccaro and Canne Bianche 4, Borgo Egnazia 5. The area hub has every stay of the area, and By the sea covers all of Puglia.

Which stays in Fasano and Savelletri are left off, and why?

Six of the 12. Three have precise positions beyond the 2 km limit, and their official sites state no beach club or private beach. The other three have positions only at the level of the locality, so we calculate no distance and their pages show the sea as not confirmed.

One of those three, in the center of Savelletri, sends guests to partner beach clubs. Our rule counts only a beach club or private beach that the property describes as its own, so partner clubs do not qualify.
