How do you choose between the six five-star stays?
Start with the kind of place. Borgo Egnazia is the village-style resort, with 185 rooms in the 2026 register. Masseria San Domenico and Masseria Torre Maizza are masserie with 42 and 51 rooms in the same register, Masseria Calderisi a boutique hotel in a 17th-century masseria, Masseria Torre Coccaro the estate with golf, and Canne Bianche the boutique hotel on the coast.
Borgo Egnazia is built as a Puglian village in tufa, with the Vair Spa, a kids club and villas with private pools, and it names two private beaches. Masseria Torre Coccaro lists 16 room types, an Aveda spa, golf, a horse-riding center and two beach clubs reached by shuttle.
Masseria San Domenico is a 15th-century watch-tower of the Knights of Malta, turned into a resort in 1996, and its group lists a thalassotherapy spa, a pool among rocks, tennis and an 18-hole golf course. Masseria Torre Maizza gives us the least to go on. Its official page blocks automated readers, the Edit does not bypass that, and our facts for it come from the regional register.
Masseria Calderisi counts 24 rooms and suites on its own site, on eight hectares of olive, citrus and almond trees, a small spa and a private beach reached by shuttle. It offers exclusive use for up to 120 guests. Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel is a boutique hotel in Torre Canne with 49 rooms by its own count, a sea-view pool and an Aqua Spa.
The lowest estimated band is Masseria Calderisi’s 3. Masseria San Domenico, Masseria Torre Coccaro and Canne Bianche are band 4, Borgo Egnazia and Masseria Torre Maizza band 5. The area hub has the other stays, and the luxury collection covers all of Puglia.
