We may earn a commission when you book through some links. It never affects which places we include or what we say about them.
Does the site use partner links?
The Puglia Edit may include partner links in future. Today every booking button goes straight to the property’s official website and reads “Visit official website”.
If that changes, partner links will be marked as sponsored in the page code, a line like the opening one will sit next to each booking button in the language of the page, and this page will say so.
How does a /go/ link work?
A booking button opens an address on our own site that begins with /go/ and sends you on to the property in the same moment. We use it for one reason: to count clicks.
The counter keeps four things: the day, the stay, the provider and the language of the page you clicked from, English or Italian, plus a running total. We read the page you came from only to tell English from Italian, and we do not keep it. We store no IP address, set no cookie and keep nothing that identifies you.
Once you reach the property or a partner, their own privacy rules apply. Ours are in the privacy notice.
Does a commission change the selection or the order?
No. A place is included because its own published information meets the criteria in How we select. Lists follow plain rules such as area, price band or distance to the sea, and never follow commission.
A property with a partner link is treated on the same terms as one without, and the text we write about it does not change.
Can a property pay to be listed or to rank higher?
No. There are no paid placements.
The site’s code has a “featured” option that could one day carry a visible “Partner” label. It is switched off, and no page is marked as featured today. If that ever changes, the label will be visible on the page, the editorial text will stay the same, and this page will say so.
Who do you write to about a commercial or partnership request?
Write to ciao.andiamoinpuglia@gmail.com. Describe the request and mention The Puglia Edit in the subject line. If you represent a property, see For properties; other ways to reach us are on the contact page.
