What the property says

Bianco Riccio Suite Hotel puts you inside the village of Savelletri. The hotel says it is the only hotel in the center of the fishing village, on Via degli Scavi, so you step out into narrow streets and fresh-fish restaurants.

The hotel is open all year and calls itself the right choice for all seasons. That matters if you are planning a trip outside summer.

The hotel has held events since 2018 and says it has hosted weddings. In June 2024 it hosted the Indian delegation to the G7 summit, which the hotel ties to very high standards of security, discretion and service.

The rooms

The suites run from 29 to 50 m². The hotel’s list is Deluxe Suite, Deluxe Suite with Pool View, Deluxe Suite with Sea View, King Suite with Sea View, Deluxe Communicating Rooms and a Luxury Apartment with jacuzzi and sauna.

Each suite has a large private veranda, furnished and lit. The hotel calls the rooms the real privilege of this hotel. Inside you get large wardrobes, a Smart TV, air conditioning and stoneware floors.

The Communicating Rooms are the family answer: two rooms of 25 to 30 m² joined by a terrace door, on the ground and first floors. Together they make 70 m² with two double beds and two extra singles, and the pages list a mountain or garden view.

Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is at 11 am. The hotel is smoke-free. Book a sea-view category by name if the view is the reason you are going.

Food and drink

Casa Riccio is the hotel restaurant, looking over the sea in Savelletri. It serves Apulian cuisine, the day’s catch and select meats, and it opens for dinner every day from 7:15 pm to 10:30 pm. Hotel guests book at reception.

Breakfast is served on the panoramic terrace, with views of the village, the coast and the mountains. It is international with some Apulian specialities. The ground-floor pool bar handles cocktails and light lunches beside the water.

Because the hotel is in the village, much of the dining choice is outside. The hotel points to the narrow streets of the center for Apulian dishes and fresh fish, and lists partner restaurants it has selected.

The setting

The pool sits in a 200 m² Apulian garden with olive trees and prickly pears, and has a whirlpool, sun loungers and parasols.

The spa has a Turkish bath, experience showers, a whirlpool, a sauna and a treatment area, plus a grotto where treatments can be booked. The gym has Technogym equipment and is accessible all year. Group yoga classes need at least 6 participants.

The beach is handled through partner clubs. Ask reception which club suits your dates. Parking is private and free, and the hotel arranges transfers.

The hotel also has meeting rooms and says it welcomes both individual guests and groups. Its services list includes a Pet Hotels item; ask for the conditions if you travel with a pet.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

It suits couples and friends who want a village base, walkable dinners and a spa, and anyone planning a winter or shoulder-season trip. If you travel as a family, the communicating rooms are the option to look at; the hotel’s children’s policy is not confirmed here, so ask.

Look elsewhere if you want olive groves and acres of land. Masseria Calderisi has eight hectares of olive, citrus and almond land, and Borgo San Marco has a 65-hectare estate. A guest who wants to walk from the room onto sand should ask about beach access before booking.

Getting there

Savelletri sits on the Adriatic coast, in the Fasano and Savelletri area, and both Bari and Brindisi serve it, so choose by fare and schedule.

A car gives you freedom for beach clubs and nearby towns, but you can live without one for a few days because the village is on your doorstep. The hotel offers private parking and a transfer service with driver.
