Why it’s on the Edit

Rodi Resort is a newly built 4-star hotel at Rodi Garganico, in what the hotel calls the heart of the north coast of the Gargano. It belongs to the Garibaldi Hotels group, which describes it as contemporary hospitality with Italian design, and it has 74 rooms.

It is a modern sea hotel, not a masseria: a new building with a pool, a garden and a beach reached by shuttle.

The restaurant is inside the hotel, and whether it opens to non-guests is not confirmed here. It serves Mediterranean cooking from recipes the hotel calls authentic, made with seasonal ingredients and local raw materials. Breakfast is a buffet with Italian and continental choices.

At the arranged beach, the lido has a bar and a restaurant, so lunch there is an option.

The setting

The setting is a Mediterranean garden on the north coast of the Gargano, with the infinity pool in it.

The hotel names the national park and the Foresta Umbra for trekking and e-bike rides, the old villages of the coast, and the Tremiti Islands for snorkeling and diving.
