Spa stays in Monopoli and Polignano

The rule

A stay is included when its own official information confirms a spa; a stay that does not mention one is left out, and nothing is added by hand.

How to choose a spa stay in Monopoli and Polignano

Pick the kind of place first, since all six confirm a spa. Four are masserie in the countryside of Monopoli: Il Melograno, Masseria Monet, Masseria Paretano and Masseria Santa Teresa.

Their spas differ more than their buildings. Masseria Monet puts its spa in the old oil mill, and Masseria Santa Teresa lists a sauna, a Turkish bath and an indoor hydromassage pool beside an outdoor infinity pool. Il Melograno, five stars luxury in the register, adds two pools, tennis and padel courts, and a private beach club reached by a free shuttle.

Borgobianco Resort & Spa Polignano is the resort of the six: farmhouse-style, with 48 rooms and a spa its site puts at nearly 1,000 square meters, closed to guests under 16. The Region lists it at five stars.

For a town base, Corte Altavilla Relais & Charme is a four-star boutique hotel in Conversano with the Sibilla Thermarium Spa.

Masseria Paretano has the lowest estimated band (1), Masseria Santa Teresa and Corte Altavilla are band 2, and the other three band 3. Borgobianco, Il Melograno and Masseria Monet meet our honeymoon rule. The area hub lists the other stays, and Spa retreats covers all of Puglia.

Can you book a spa visit without staying?

Masseria Paretano is the one stay that says so: its page sets a price and a duration for guests and for visitors who are not staying. Il Melograno publishes opening hours for its Caschera SPA, with a morning and an afternoon slot, but we have not read who may book them. The other four do not say.

Seven stays in the area have no spa on their pages, among them the four hotels on the water in Monopoli and Polignano. For them a spa is not confirmed, and the property may still have one. Opening months are also not confirmed for any of the six, so ask before you plan a treatment outside summer.

Questions travelers ask

Which stays in Monopoli and Polignano have a spa?

Six stays confirm a spa on their official sites: Borgobianco Resort & Spa Polignano, Corte Altavilla Relais & Charme, Il Melograno, Masseria Monet, Masseria Paretano and Masseria Santa Teresa. The other seven stays in the area do not mention a spa on the pages we read, so it shows as not confirmed for them.

Can I use the spa at Masseria Paretano if I am not staying?

Masseria Paretano says so on its own page. Its spa, with a sauna, a Turkish bath and a Kneipp path, takes 60-minute bookings from guests and from people who are not staying. It is the only one of the six where we have read this, so ask the others directly.

Is there an age limit for the spa at Borgobianco in Polignano?

Borgobianco Resort & Spa Polignano says its wellness area is open to guests aged 16 and over. The spa covers nearly 1,000 square meters, with a heated pool with hydro-jets, a sauna, a hammam and five treatment rooms. Families with children under 16 will need another plan for spa time.

Which Monopoli spa stay is the least expensive?

Masseria Paretano is in estimated price band 1, the lowest of the six. Masseria Santa Teresa and Corte Altavilla Relais & Charme are band 2, and Borgobianco, Il Melograno and Masseria Monet are band 3. All six bands are our estimates from positioning, with no published rate behind them.
